ECSA represents a service architecture for e-learning driven web applications. It is used for communication, integration and authorization of individual web applications with each other and with existing administration systems. This is realized via a message-based integration platform (ECS).
The ECSA itself is derived from a REST architecture.
Great importance is attached to the exclusive use of recognized web standards/protocols, thus achieving maximum compatibility and connectivity.
